Earlier this evening, my wife takes out the camera and says to me, “I need a better photo of myself. Come up on the deck and take some pictures of me.” Never one to miss an opportunity to take some pictures, I headed out and started snapping away. I was also excited because my wife NEVER wants me to photograph or film her. (I think she may be slowly coming around though.) It turns out that she needed a photo to provide to one of her colleagues she is co-authoring an online article with.
I am trying to get some experience with portraits and she was more than willing to give me some criticism…during the shoot. “Direct me!” “How did that one look?” “Shoot me from this angle.”
All in all, I only took around 20 pictures since it was so humid outside. The first three below are from that shoot. The fourth one was on my camera from a few weeks ago, which I also uploaded. Not sure how she’ll feel about being on my blog. Muahaha!
