Time goes by so quickly, I didn’t realize that I hadn’t posted anything new for the month. In the past few weeks I have been up to a lot; a Labor Day weekend getaway with my wife and daughter, searching for employment, being a stay-at-home Dad to a two year old, preparing and cleaning house for a slew of out-of-state visitors, and my wife’s ordination. I’m sure there’s more I can add to that list, but that’s all I can think about at the moment.

I took a short hiatus from writing…but not because of writer’s block. With so much going on, I just did not have the time. (Some nights I didn’t even have a place to go to write, as my daughter and a friend were even sharing our bedroom with my wife and me.)

I have also been spending my spare time creating a memorial/tribute video and DVD for my aunt – to give to family members. After putting the finishing touches on the memorial video/DVD earlier today, I thought I would post the link to it here:

‘This is a memorial video I put together for Colleen Olson, who passed away on June 9, 2014. She was my Aunt and Godmother, but she was so much more to countless others. I created this video as a tribute to Colleen and so that family and friends will have a place to go when they want to reminisce.

As she didn’t typically like being in pictures, there are not many that exist of Colleen. This video is a collection of pictures from her family and friends, and also a lot of which she took herself. The short video clips throughout, are from my family’s home video collection.’
